IDCB is the first Indonesian-based chorus battle that is made especially for Indonesian Utaite. The first IDCB was held on 2015 (started Round 1 on July 1st, 2015). The battle used Pancasila as the main theme, followed by Sumpah Palapa as extra theme for the final round. There were 15 groups participating in the battle with EUPHONiUM emerging as the winner, followed by BDSM as runner-up.

The second IDCB started on August 17th, 2016, with Merdeka atau Mati as the main theme of the year. In this battle, the hosts used national songs as round themes, with national motto as extra theme for its final round. 25 groups joined the 2016's battle with {S/HE} as the winner, followed by Matchapella as the runner up.

Bagus Bagaskara Rahagi is IDCB's kind and fluffy mascot. His name translates to the Sun that shines magnificently. He represents the endangered Sumatran tiger. IDCB is hoping to raise awareness to the condition of Indonesian's wildlife while still focusing on music and to be a place of sanctuary to those with the same hobby.

IDCB took a two year break in 2017, and will be back on 2019 with a loud bang!
